Rain is bad news for some folks

Groundbreaking ceremonies postponed

The ceremonial groundbreakings for the high school and middle school located on the west site and the high school on the east site have been postponed due to rain. The groundbreakings were scheduled for Thursday and Friday but have been rescheduled for sometime in September, Diane Boyett, communication specialist for the district said. more >>

Collector has sheet music from 1911

James Dunnell loves to collect antiques. So when his great aunt gave him some original sheet music published in 1911 by the Hauschild Music Company in Victoria, he was thrilled. “I’m not a musician, but I’m very into antiques. City council to vote on $3.2 million to help VISD bond project
