Thousands of cheering and clapping people crowded in for a closer look at the Fishing Center dock in Port O’Connor during the Poco Bueno fishing tournament weigh-in just after 5 p.m. on Saturday. Bright flashes and explosive noises disoriented the alleged drug dealer long enough for police to enter the home filled with loaded assault rifles. Victoria police and Sheriff’s officers busted into the house at 2515 Putney St. at 8 p.m. Friday after throwing eight flash bang devices into the home, Police Chief Bruce Ure said.
