First Victoria has promoted Lisa Hernandez, Private Banking - Wealth Management officer, to vice president. Hernandez holds a certificate from Texas Bankers Associate Lending School and has 24 years of banking experience. Hernandez is also involved with the Victoria Chamber of Commerce board and the Minority Business Council.
Bill Diefenbach was recently hired by First Victoria as vice president in the Commercial Lending Aircraft Division. Diefenbach has 13 years combined experience in consumer lending, business and dealership banking. He is also a United Way Pacesetter volunteer.
Anna Salazar Celum was recently hired as an administrative assistant to University of Houston-Victoria Vice President Richard D. Phillips and the University Advancement office. Celum assists Phillips and other staff members in day-to-day operations.
Aire Serv recognized Dave Adams of the Aire Serv of Victoria franchise with the Recruiter of the Year award during the company’s 2008 annual conference in Dallas. The award goes to the franchisee who has demonstrated superior recruiting skills by attracting quality employees and creating opportunities within the franchise to facilitate their growth.
James Keener received the Agency Hands in the Community award for his commitment to volunteering in the Victoria community. This award comes with a $500 grant from the Allstate Foundation for the Victoria Lions Club, which Keener has continuously supported.
Avon Products, Inc. recently announced that Candida Contreras, a local representative, has been recognized among the beauty giant’s top representative in the United States. Contreras was awarded with a trip to the company’s president recognition celebration in Las Vegas.
