  • Gassing, for sure, is an inhumane way of death. Squeezing a dog or cat in a tightly enclosed box is stressful. Then the process of death by CO can take up to 30minutes. All the while, they scratch to get out and cry in fear.

If you don't believe me, watch the video posted below by Madison. This is real footage.

Victoria needs to modernize their ways and switch to injection. We all use this for our own animals when it is their time, so why would we want the others to have any less?

  • Until Victoria becomes a No Kill community, animal should be killed using humane IV injectable euthanasia (EIB)- not trying to claw their way out of a box as the gas overtakes them. http://www.ncche.com
EIB is cheaper than carbon monoxide gassing (CO)
We dont gas people- do you think animals are any less afraid or scared or in pain? www.shadowcats.net

  • I can understand putting down an animal that is dying and or in alot of pain. But to gas them is horrible. They choke to death. It would almost be the same as hanging some one and the neck not breaking. I have lived in Wichita Falls, Tx and Bowie, Tx. Both use injections.
