You can't fix stupid.
I have a guy that wants to pay me $500 for 9 hours work per week driving his mother around town. He is trying to get my personal information to "send me a payment". LOL I will play along to see where it goes. I know it is a scam. So beware if you get one of these offers. He even offered to provide a new car. lol
I've received no less than 5 of these scams in the past 2 years. The first thing that tipped me off to the possibility that it's a fake--- the misspelled words through out the letter of instruction. Then there's the whole fact that the company that sent the letter is different from the company who supposedly sent the check.... The first time I got one, I called the business listed on the check. The were aware of the scam and had closed their account. Then I reported it to the proper local law enforcement... The subsequent letters I received, I just threw away.
It never ceases to amaze me just how dumb people are. If it seems too good to be true, guess what, it probably isn't!
