  • Myth #1. Illegal aliens want U.S. citizenship. This is not true. Americans are very vain thinking that everybody in the world wants to be a U.S. citizen. Mexicans, & other nationalities want to remain citizens of their home countries while obtaining the benefits offered by the United States such as employment, medical care, instate tuition, government subsidized housing & free education for their offspring. Their main attraction is employment & their loyalty usually remains at home. They want benefits earned & subsidized by middle class Americans. What illegal aliens want are benefits of American residence without paying the price.

Myth #2. There are jobs that Americans won't do. Not true. Illegal aliens are doing jobs that Americans can't take & still support their families. Illegal aliens take low wage jobs, live dozens in a single residence home, share expenses & send money to their home country. There are no jobs that Americans won't do for a decent wage.

  • All of them ARE criminals now. Each has walked at least two steps into the country violating our immigration laws. All have the intent to violate other laws and may or may not have the intent to harm citizens of the US.

The above facts have nothing to do with any political party. Each political party has used amnesty to their favor at some point in history. So pointing fingers is no good. The finger should be pointing at ourselves. We voted the idiots into office. Vote them out. Find someone that WILL perform to our expectations or give them ultimatums.

As employees maybe it is time to stand up for accountability and turn in any employer using illegal aliens. Or, lets go ahead and publish the company's name in the newspaper. Let the public's feet vote. I am all for stopping the nonsense. Let is turn the light on in the house and get the broom out. We are allowing all this muck. Start sweeping it out.

  • Do you really think the Republicans are the reason why a man from the Middle East would come here? You think he wants to mow your lawn? Wake up people, he came here to do harm to America! People better get their heads out of the sand and demand that the border be secure before something real bad happens!

  • just a thought here, maybe they knew for a fact the 6 were from Honduras but had no confirmation where the other guy was from other than he was middle eastern? Contrary to popular belief, not everything is a conspiracy. They ought to put an electronic tag on every person caught sneaking/smuggling into the US and next time they illegally cross, the tag notifies ICE.

  • The story implies that terrorists are sneaking across the southern border … maybe DPS should release the country of origin for the “Middle Eastern descent” person like they did for the people from Honduras. If terrorists are crossing the border, please release all the information to the media now!
