  • Seems there is a problem the Victoria County Jail. And there is an election coming up. Might be a good time to ask the man with the responsibility for running the jail what is being do to prevent these issues.

  • Don't be in possession of drugs.
    Don't violate terms of your probation.

    Had the plaintiff done the above he would never have been in jail in the first place and wouldn't have gotten his arse whipped. Well, not in jail anyway.

    However, I am surprised that the criminal wasn't taken to an Ophthalmologist or that he wasn't sent to one by the attending physician. But oh well, that's why we have juries.

  • Why was there a 7 day delay for his being seen by a ophtalmoslogist? What were the discharge instuctions from Citizens and if they were clear that he need additional care why wait until he was sent to San Antonio?

    The Victoria County Jail has had some events that should have been investigated and we have heard very little about.
