Victoria woman injured in SUV crash
A 22-year-old Victoria woman was injured after crashing her sport utility vehicle early Friday morning.
Jennifer Guthrie was taken by Victoria Fire Department ambulance to Citizens Medical Center after the wreck.
She was transferred Friday afternoon by helicopter to University Hospital in San Antonio, where she remained in the emergency room as of 4 p.m., according to a hospital spokesperson.
About 3:50 a.m., Guthrie was driving her 2012 Nissan Pathfinder east in the 1200 block of East Red River Street when she attempted to turn north onto Laurent Street.
The vehicle struck the right shoulder curb and rolled onto the passenger side, according to a report from the Victoria Police Department.
No citations were issued, said VPD spokeswoman Sgt. Eline Moya.
