Megan Elizabeth Ledwig of Victoria, Texas and Casey Ryan Newman of Bloomington, Texas were married at 5 p.m. on September 8, 2012 at D&E Ranch in Victoria, Texas with Pastor Mike Hurt officiating at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jonathan and Linda Swanson Ledwig, the granddaughter of John E. & Jo Ann Swanson and the great granddaughter of Mrs. Mary G. Otto and the late Richard J. Otto all of Victoria. The bride is also the granddaughter of Raymond and Kay Ledwig and the great-granddaughter of Charlene Fromme and the late Werner Fromme all of Victoria.

The groom is the son of Richard and Janet Newman of Bloomington. He is the grandson of Jack and Janice Lister of Victoria.

Stephanie Ledwig of Victoria, attended her sister as Maid of Honor, and the bride's lifelong friends, Kelli Hermes and Katie Hermes, both of Victoria, attended the bride as Bridesmaids.

Abigail Duggan of Houston and Cianna Newman of Victoria, cousins of the bride and groom served as flower girls.

Owen Duggan served as ring bearer and Jake Duggan served as the announcer. Both are cousins of the bride and from Houston.

Ricky Newman of Bloomington served as his son's Best Man. Groomsmen were Tommy Lee of Victoria and Austin Hitt of Katy.

Ushers were Jack Lister Jr., uncle of the groom, and Marvin Sturm and Karl Ledwig, uncles of the bride.

A reception, dinner, and dance were held following the ceremony at the D&E Ranch.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Faith Academy in Victoria and is currently attending the University of Houston - Victoria studying for a degree in Psychology, She is currently a temporary employee of Goodwin Personnel working as a secretary.

The groom is a 2006 graduate of Faith Academy and is a 2011 graduate of University of Houston-Victoria with a degree in Communications. Casey was a pitcher for the UH-V Jaguars Baseball Team throughout college. He is employed at the University of Houston-Victoria as a Student Recruiter.

The couple will reside in Victoria.
