Emily Denise Prukop and Bradley Jonathan Hillyer exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral. Father Gabriel Bentil officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
Emily is the daughter of Craig and Susan Prukop and the granddaughter of Mary Hood and Kathy Prukop. Bradley is the son of Robert and Shirley Hillyer and the grandson of Justine Vesely. In loving memory are the couples' departed grandparents George Hood, Chris Prukop, Eugene Vesely, and Wayne and Mary Lee Hillyer.
Attendants for Emily were Michelle Prukop, matron of honor and Beth Carrier, maid of honor and bridesmaids Sarah Becak, Analysa Cantu, Megan Hillyer and Sarah Stubbs. Corey Hillyer served as best man. Ben Becak, Jacob Prukop, Jeremy Martin, Kyle Martin and Martin Aguilar were Bradley's groomsmen.
Bailey Becak and Amry Feuerbacher were the flowers girls and Eli Prukop and Levi Feuerbacher served as ring bearers. Travis Grahmann, Jaime Guerrero, Hunter Hood and Michael Leita ushered the guests.
Carrying the offertory gifts were godparents of the couple - Rhonda & Jerry Leita, Susan Hillyer and Gene Vesely. Trapper Feuerbacher and Tim Hillyer distributed wedding programs.
Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance were held at the Inez Community Center. The groom's parents led the grand march.
The bride is a graduate of St. Joseph High School, received a Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin and is attending graduate school at UTSA, pursuing a Master of Science in Finance.
The groom is a graduate of Memorial High School and is attending the University of Houston, Victoria pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.
Following wedding travel to the Bahamas, the couple will reside in San Antonio.
