Thank you to generous man who bought gas
Editor, the Advocate:
On May 5, I was trying to buy gas at the Exxon Station at the corner of Main and Airline. I am from California and was in Victoria for my father, John Etheredge's, funeral. He was a generous man, often helping those less fortunate. The pump was not working, and finally a gentleman came over to help me. He inserted his credit card, put in his zip code and walked away. I said, "What, are you buying my gas?" He said, "Sometimes it's good to do nice things for people."
Thank you to the generous gentleman in the silver truck. Your kind act reminded me of my father.
