Column on morality showed truth of problem
Editor, the Advocate:
Once again, Walter Williams has hit the nail on the head with his article entitled "Lack of morality, not guns, is real problem" in the Oct. 1 Advocate. He gives a very good explanation for the increase in violence we are seeing today - something the gun-grabbers fail (or refuse) to acknowledge. Having more gun laws, background checks, etc. is not going to solve the actual problem. The most recent shooter had a Department of Defense security clearance, which, I'm sure, is supposed to be more extensive than any "background check" a gun buyer might be subjected to, and it did not stop him. More gun control is not the answer.
