Thanks for love during time
Editor, Victoria Advocate:
Dear Overcomer and friends and family, Thank you all so very much for your continued prayers and love for the family and myself during this time. God is so very faithful, and I praise Him so much for the transforming work He has done in my life through His work in and through Arthur. What a tremendous and drastic change that took place in me when I met Arthur. So amazing! I realized at Arthur's first memorial service through his son's message that he shared with us that what Arthur gave to me was Jesus, and now my focus is on continuing to be a good and faithful bride to Him. Indeed, for all Christians, that should be our focus. I love Him so much for the nearly 20 years of marriage He blessed Arthur and I with, and I will continue the ministry of encouragement and availability to serve as He provides for me and keeps me full of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. I am serving at the Restoration House for Women in Victoria and trusting in Him for His provision, protection and power. He is so good.
Any monetary memorials may be given to the Restoration House Ministry or the Salvation Army.
A second memorial service for Arthur Nelson will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Salvation Army, 1306 N. Louis St. Hope to see you there.
Josephine Nelson, Victoria
