Sheriff's office needs to address remains policy
Editor, Victoria Advocate:
My nephew, Jeff Wilder, was the lineman who was electrocuted on the job Aug. 12. Can anyone explain to his family why it took so long for the sheriff's department to get the certification needed to the crematorium so they could send his remains back home to California? My sister received her son Sept. 3, and now, they must start the grieving process all over again. I pray that this process is addressed so no other family has to go through this tragedy on top of an already egregious tragedy.
