Patrick T. Riley

Patrick T. "P.T." Riley, 61, of Victoria passed away May 9, 2010. He was born Jan. 25, 1949, in Fort Worth to Mary C. Dougherty Riley of Beeville and the late Mike Riley. He worked for Southwestern Bell for 31 years as a telephone technician. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Cathedral and served his country in the United States Navy.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;P.T. exhibited an interest in music at a very early age. From the time he played his first guitar at age 4 until his induction into the Fiddlers Hall of Fame in 2010, P.T. played and sang his way through many fiddle contests, produced newsletters, created websites, took photos and made video tapes for the preservation of the history of fiddle music.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Wood Riley of Victoria; children, Todd Sneed (Jennifer) of Victoria, Amy Segler (Derek) of Victoria, Katrina Sallee (Robert) of Beaufort, S.C., Chad Sneed (Brandyn) of Victoria, Margaret Hunt (Jason) of Japan, Sara Clark (Garhett) of Lewisville, and Bonnie Riley of Victoria; sister, Anne Brown (Steve) of Beeville; and grandchildren, Micayla, Jerred, Ayden, Brody, Baylee, Madilynn, Kade, Drayton, Brayden and Karis.

He was preceded in death by his father.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today, May 12, 2010, at Rosewood Funeral Chapel.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Interment will be Friday, May 14, 2010, at 1:45 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Pallbearers will be Andy Brown, Garhett Clark, Robert Sallee, Derek Segler, Chad Sneed and Todd Sneed.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Faupal, Kenneth Henneke, Earl Logue and Bobby Stevens.

nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Cathedral.
