Project Pink

About Project Pink

Supporting women and their families battling cancer in South Texas and raising awareness. That’s the focus and the mission of the Victoria Advocate’s Project Pink.

Awareness is key in this fight, so the Victoria Advocate printed edition will be printed on pink newsprint on Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Additional copies will be available for sale at the Advocate's customer service desk during normal business hours.

With content in print and online featuring local survivor stories, photos, messages of support and memorials, this will be an edition to remember. We hope it will serve as a reminder to those in the Crossroads to take action and have the necessary screenings.

Join Us

By simply running an ad in this special pink edition on October 1, you can support this wonderful, local cause. Call 361-574-1241 to learn more about including your message of hope and support in this special issue.

Get involved

The Advocate will partner with Citizens Medical Center on their Walk for Hope on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Citizens Healthplex to assist in raising awareness and helping to raise funds for mammograms. At this event, community members can make donations to those in our community that need financial assistance with treatment! Click here to learn more about the Walk for Hope.
