I grew up here in the citown of Victoria. From biking the streets of Cimarron, running the bases at Scott Field, wearing the blue and white at Our Lady of Victory, walking the stage at St. Joseph High School, my upbringing is traced throughout the city limits and right beyond.
I went to school abroad in Ohio, just off the Ohio River and feet away from West Virginia in a little old steel mining town of Steubenville. I met my future spouse there, she is a Southern girl with an accent and all. However, she is from further South than you think. We have received three gifts of our marriage.
After a number of years of wedding bliss and children, I decided to aim for a graduate degree and left with two. How this was done with working full time on and off, children running, crying, and pooping, I don't know. I credit the invention of carpet and laptops.
Here you will find my thoughts on things that matter most to me.
