Mama always used to say, "I don't go anywhere without my lipstick." I guess I took those words to heart long ago, because as an adult, I don't go anywhere without it either. I always have some kind of "lip stuff" in my purse.

Sometimes the best way to pull off a dull, or colorless outfit is to put on some red lips. Sometimes the best way to make a great outfit even better, is to put on some red lips.

If you can't already tell, I'm a huge fan of red lipstick. It's just such a classic look to me. (It's also a great way to make your smile look whiter if you're in between whitening strips.)

Of course, red lipstick has it's drawbacks. It comes off easily, and it if you drink or eat anything, the red usually rubs off and leaves a stain wherever your lips were. It's also easy to get on your clothes and teeth. And no one likes to be caught with lipstick on their teeth.

Because I enjoy the red lipstick look -- I must have at least nine different shades at home -- I'm always interested in any product that reduces my fear of having a "red lipstick teeth" moment.

Enter Revlon's Just Bitten Lipstain and Balm. It's a red lipstick, but it stains your lips with a felt tip marker, rather than a traditional lipstick wax.

I've tried stains in the past, but they often dry out my lips. Just Bitten's attached lip balm keeps my lips saturated as well as any Chapstick, and the red color stays in place for at least 12 hours. It doesn't rub off on anything your lips touch, and it's easy to wash off at the end of the day.

It ranges in price from about $6-$7 and comes in a variety of colors. Give it a try. I love it!
