  • As I stated on Mike's blog BP said it would pay for the entire cost of this maybe we should give them a chance to make good before we Bankrupt them putting the bill on the taxpayers.

This admin is already filing lawsuits and planning new energy taxes to punish all oil companies without a clear plan for the outcome. If I remember correctly BP wanted to use the current method right from the start but was denied this method as it's first choice. If the could have done so much more oil would have been captured.

  • With this crowd in Washington, solving the problem will NEVER be as importanat as laying blame. AND equally as important is the pursuit of the all-important agenda of using this disaster to increase taxes on all of us. Cap and Trade will be just the beginning. They'll be wanting to place a carbon tax on everything we do...from driving our cars to buying airline tickets to using electric appliances to air conditioning our homes, we'll be paying obama taxes because the democrats "care."

  • Amen, ZMAN! It is almost all political posturing, using the current crisis in the Gulf to push more hidden and unpopular agendas onto the public.
