Blogs » Your Advocate: an editor's blog » Advocate, citizen journalists cover Ron Paul rally

In case you missed these two weekend videos, I want to highlight them here for you.

Photo editor Frank Tilley, who has embraced the digital age, shot both segments: the Ron Paul rally and the Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby. I thought Frank captured well the excitement of both events. I particularly like the American flag flapping in the wind as Paul spoke.

It is quite a challenge for a print photojournalist to shoot video, too, but Frank has proven himself up to the challenge time and time again. We're still learning how best to handle video, but our photojournalists are leading the way.

In this digital age, many people have video cameras. I encourage all of you to post your videos here, too. I've attached two Paul videos I found on YouTube. It's easy and fun to work as a citizen journalist these days.
